Axo Easa Bubble - Espacio La Nube - 13.1

01/07

The Bubble is a research project developed in the framework of the European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA). It explores the concept of permeability in the field of pneumatic architecture.

The squared plan avoids the archetypal geometry of inflatables to create a polygonal tablet with four fronts in which the accesses are hidden.

The interior is a forest of tensors and ropes of different tonalities that divide the space into a grid of habitable cells. Each one of these tensors can be regulated to alter the height of the cell, therefore altering the shape of the tablet.
